Graduates have earned doctorate, master and bachelor degrees from public and private universities, associate degrees from community colleges, degree and certificate training from private technical schools, and served in the United States Army, United States Navy, United States Marine Corp, United States Air Force, and United States Coast Guard.
American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification
As a service to adult learners who pass the American Heart Association Basic Life Support certificate examinations, the International Commerce High School pays for the American Heart Association Basic Life Support certificate through the American Heart Association. This certification increases student employability and is recognized by Rio Salado College and the Maricopa Community College District.
Co-curricular lifetime recreation
In addition to their academic studies, students may participate in co-curricular lifetime recreation activities. Students participate after completion of American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider course. Activities are provided through city parks and recreation programs.
ACT WorkKeys National Career Readiness Certificate
Adult learners take the ACT National Career Readiness Certificate course, a nationally recognized work skills credential. The ACT National Career Readiness Certificate (ACT NCRC®) is an assessment-based credential powered by ACT WorkKeys®. Issued at four levels, the ACT NCRC measures and certifies the essential work skills needed for success in jobs across industries and occupations. The ACT NCRC is widely used by employers, educators, workforce developers, and others with a stake in the success of the economy. More than 2.3 million ACT NCRCs have been issued nationwide since the credential was introduced in 2006.
ACT NCRC highlights Awarded at four levels—Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Research-based assessments. Measures and certifies broadly relevant foundational work skills. Recognized and recommended by thousands of employers. Platinum and Gold recommended for college credit by the American Council on Education (ACE). Serves as the basis of state- and county-level workforce and economic development initiatives.
College Level Examination Program - CLEP
Over 2,900 colleges and universities grant credit for CLEP exams. By taking the CLEP exams, learners earn college credit for what they already know, saving both time and money towards earning a degree.
